Situated at the northern tip of the South Island, Marlborough is New Zealand’s largest and most successful wine producing area. It is renowned for the production of exuberantly fruity Sauvignon Blanc. The Isabel Estate vineyard is one of the largest privately owned wine estates in Marlborough. Yields for the production of Isabel Estate wines are restricted by pruning to low bud numbers and, where necessary, leaf and bunch thinning to ensure that fruit quality is optimized.“We aim to make inspired wines that are a strong expression of the individual style and character, as determined by the vineyard site and soil.”
Isabel produces outstanding Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a late-harvest SB, “Noble Sauvage”. These are wines of amazing substance and style.
